Members were able to view the Call-in presentation on the CNPA website (www.cairngorms.co.uk) between 12.00 noon on Wednesday, 2 March and 09.00 on Friday, 4 March 2011 3. The proposal reflects one that the CNPA requested the removal of from the overall masterplan for the Aviemore Highland Resort site. The application raises issues with regard to landscape, building design and social and economic development. The proposal raises a range of issues with regard to natural heritage and the promotion of understanding and enjoyment consequently raising issues of general significance for the collective aims of the Cairngorms National Park. 17. 11/60/CP - The decision was to call-in the application for the following reason : The proposal involves the removal of dredged material from the banks of the River Mashie. The proposal raises issues with regard to natural heritage including landscape, and river protection, it also raises issues with regard to the socio economic development of the area.
